Association between α‐adducin rs4961 polymorphism and hypertension: A meta‐analysis

It seems that dominant and recessive genetic models need to be modified. For instance, in cases of FCGR3A F158V polymorphism, authors applied F vs V in allelic model, FF vs FV + VV as dominant and VV vs FF + FV as recessive, while correct dominant and recessive models should be FF + FV vs VV and FF vs FV + VV, respectively. Also, correct recessive and dominant models for FCGR2B I232T polymorphism should be II vs IT + TT and II + IT vs TT, and for FCGR2A H131R polymorphism should be HH vs HR + RR and HH + HR vs RR, respectively. The correct results are presented in Table 1 of our analysis.
